■Coming to OliOli GuesthouseGetting to Shimoda.
If coming by public transport, first of all you will want to make your way to Izukyu-Shimoda station. The easiest way in which to do this is by train. If you’re coming from Tokyo, there is a direct train called the JR ( Super view ) Odoriko. It takes approximately 3 hours and leaves from Tokyo station stopping also at Shinagawa, Kawasaki and Yokohama.
Here is a link to the timetable:

■Izukyu-Shimoda Station to OliOli Guesthouse.
The station is about 5 kilometers from OliOli Guesthouse.
2A taxi will usually cost somewhere in the region of \2000.
There is a local bus service called the Tokai bus however, that option will still require you to walk about 15 minutes which in the midday sun with luggage isn’t the most pleasant of walks. To use that service, you would get on the number 4 bus from outside Shimoda station and 6 stops later at Kisami (吉佐美) get off the bus. A cost of \270.
We do also offer a pick up service, time depending. Please let us know in advance that you would like to be picked up and we will do what we can.
